Day 24: Produce Fruit!

Day 24:  Produce Fruit – Faithfulness

Read and Meditate on:           I Corinthians 15: 58

                                                      Galatians 6: 9

                                                      Philippians 1: 27

                                                      Hebrews 12: 1

                                                      Revelation 3: 11

Sometimes I just get tired of being the “dependable one”.  I get tired of always trying to do the right thing.  Sometimes, I just get weary under a load of responsibilities.  Yet, it is in those times, most of all, that I must remain faithful.  Those are the times when I am most vulnerable to Satan’s detours, and I must rely on the strength that only Christ can provide.

Christ knew those days would come.  That’s why we are reminded time again to persevere, to not become weary, and to stand firm.  Our labor for the Lord is never in vain.  We may not see the results of our labor this side of heaven, but Christ sees our labor, and someday, we will hear “Well done, good and faithful servant” if we do not lose heart but remain strong in the Lord.

If you are weary, ask God to give you rest, renew your strength, and help you to remain faithful despite whatever trials or difficulties you face.  The victory is within your grasp.  Don’t give up or give in.  Remain faithful until the end!

Supplication:

Father, sometimes I just get weary with all my responsibilities.  Help me to stand firm.  Give me the strength to persevere.  Holy Spirit, help me to remain faithful no matter the circumstances.  Make me Your good and faithful servant.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.

“We are too busy to pray, and so we are too busy to have power.  We have a great deal of activity, but we accomplish little; many services but few conversions; much machinery but few results.”  R. A. Torrey
